Belonging neither here, nor there,
Stranded at the edges.
Cannot forget my place of birth , nor accept this as home.
Watching life ebb away as Refugees.
Thinking in the language I spoke to my parents,
Trying to understand the words spoken around me.
My accent destroys the words I learn
I can’t go back, there’s nothing but fear there
I don’t belong here, I’ll never be accepted
I don’t belong anywhere
Oh Mother Earth, do you have no place for me?
