DEATH FLIGHTS - WEEK OF 4 January – please share for transparency
Ø No Slow Down During Presidential Transition. Ø 22 Deportations – Most since the week of 9 November. To 8 different countries. Ø 3 Deportation flights to Honduras. First flights in 9 weeks following devastation from 2 hurricanes. Ø 97 Total flights – Most since week of 6 October. Photo is the 1st deportation flight of the year arriving and disembarking in Guatemala this week.

Ø We will be very interested in # of encounters when reported for December. I think they may be flat to down, a contrarian guess.

Ø DEPORTATIONS TO GUATEMALA NOW ABOUT HALF OF WHAT THEY WERE LAST MONTH.
Ø ARE MORE PEOPLE BEING EXPELLED BY LAND TO MEXICO? OR WILL WE SEE ENCOUNTERS LOWER IN NOVEMBER WHEN REPORTED?
Ø STILL, 17 DEPORTATION FLIGHTS TO 6 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES IN LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN.
